This 30” 5-burner gas cooktop model KCGS550ESS is a standard cooktop that can be installed over a built-in oven. It is fueled by gas and it’s also LP convertible with a kit included. However, it does not have a power boost feature. The cooktop is sized at 30 inches and is UL certified.
The controls of the cooktop include infinite heat controls and are designed with a stainless steel knob color. Unfortunately, it does not come with a digital display.

This cooktop does not have an automatic pan detection feature. The center rear element-burner type is professional dual tier with a power of 17,000 BTU. The cooktop element style is a sealed burner and the surface material is stainless steel.
It does not have a downdraft vent. The grate details include being dishwasher safe, having a matte finish, being continuous, and made of cast iron grates. It does not have a heating element on indicator light or a hot surface indicator light. The ignition type is direct spark ignition.
The left front element-burner type is a burner with a power of 10,000 BTU. The left rear element-burner type is simmer with a power of 6000 BTU. There are five cooking element-burners in total and three grates. The cooktop is power outage compatible. The right front element-burner type is a burner with a power of 10,000 BTU, and the right rear element-burner type is also a burner with a power of 7000 BTU.
