The 36″ open burner gas range VGIC5361 is a versatile and high-performance kitchen appliance. It features an overall width of 35-7/8” (91.1 cm) and an adjustable height ranging from 35-7/8” (91.1 cm) to 37” (94.0 cm). The depth varies from 24-5/16” (61.8 cm) to the end of the side panel, 25-3/4” (65.4 cm) to the front of the door, 28-1/16” (71.2 cm) to the end of the landing ledge, and 28-11/16” (72.9 cm) to the end of the door handle. Note that an additional 1” should be added to the overall depth for ranges installed against a combustible wall. The range can be shipped for use with either Natural or LP/Propane gas and can be converted in the field with a separately purchased conversion kit. It accepts a standard residential 1/2” (1.3 cm) ID gas service line. The gas manifold pressure is 5.0” W.C.P. for Natural and 10.0” W.C.P. for Liquid Propane. The electrical requirements are 120VAC/60 Hz with a 4 ft. (121.9 cm), 3-wire cord with a grounded 3-prong plug attached to the unit. The maximum amp usage is 1.5 amps. The surface burner rating is 15,000 BTU (4.4 kW) for Natural and 12,500 BTU (3.7 kW) for LP. The broil burner rating is 18,000 BTU (5.3 kW) for Natural and 16,000 BTU (4.7 kW) for LP. The 36″ open burner gas range VGIC5361 has an overall width of 35-7/8” (91.1 cm). The overall height, measured to the top of the side trim, ranges from a minimum of 35-7/8” (91.1 cm) to a maximum of 37” (94.0 cm). The legs can be adjusted by 1-1/8” (2.9 cm) to fit your kitchen setup.

The overall depth from the rear varies depending on the specific measurement point. It’s 24-5/16” (61.8 cm) to the end of the side panel, 25-3/4” (65.4 cm) to the front of the door, 28-1/16” (71.2 cm) to the end of the landing ledge, and 28-11/16” (72.9 cm) to the end of the door handle. If the range is installed against a combustible wall with backguards, an additional 1” should be added to the overall depth.

Additional Height and Gas Requirements

For island trim, backguard, and high shelf installations, additional height is required. You need to add 1” (2.5 cm) for the top of the island trim, 8” (20.3 cm) for the top of the backguard, and 23-1/2” (59.7 cm) for the top of the high shelf.
